This class lays the groundwork for understanding flat pattern making techniques. A basic quarter scale pattern is used to study style, line changes, and structure. Class focuses on the bodice, sleeves, skirts, and pants. The notebook prepared by each student becomes a permanent reference.

No prerequisites, although Draping is strongly encouraged.
