CLASS SUPPLY LIST- Please bring to the first day of class: sewing machine with power cord, pedal, and accessories; all-purpose thread; a small multi-pack of universal sewing machine needles, size 70/10 and 80/12; hand-sewing needles, seam ripper, and sharp scissors.
CONSTRUCTION TECHNIQUES I: Basic, Skirt
Tuesdays
Section 1: 10:00 AM - 12:30 PM
Section 2: 6:00 - 8:30 PM
Class Duration: 4 weeks
Students master the techniques employed in the construction of the skirt. Students must bring their personal sewing machines.
Prerequisite: Sewing I, II, III.
MINIMUM ENROLLMENT: 3 students.

CONSTRUCTION TECHNIQUES II: Intermediate, Camp Shirt
Section 1: 10:00 AM - 12:30 PM

Students master the techniques employed in the construction of the collared camp shirt.

Prerequisite: Sewing I, II, III; Construction I or permission from instructor

CONSTRUCTION TECHNIQUES III: Advanced, Lined Pant

MASTER CONSTRUCTION: Corset Making
Duration: 8 weeks. See calendar for dates.
Students will cut out and construct the basic boned corset foundation garment, while learning appropriate sewing and construction techniques and proper fitting. Course results in the student's own personal wearable garment and customized corset pattern. Students must bring their personal sewing machine.
Prerequisite: Sewing I, II, III.

TAILORING TECHNIQUES I

In this advanced class, students master the sewing techniques employed in tailored garment construction such as besom pocket, welt pocket, and patch pocket. Students must bring their personal sewing machine.
Prerequisite: Sewing I, II, III; Construction I, II, III.
MINIMUM ENROLLMENT: 3 students.

TAILORING TECHNIQUES II
Wednesdays 6:00 - 8:30 PM
Duration: 4 weeks
In this advanced class, students master the sewing techniques employed in tailored garment construction such as two-piece set-in sleeve and trouser fly. Students must bring their personal sewing machine.
Prerequisite: Sewing I, II, III; Construction I, II, III; Tailoring Techniques I

MASTER CONSTRUCTION: DRESS SHIRT
3 consecutive Saturdays 10-3 PM
Students will learn professional techniques to construct a collared button down shirt.
The instructor will review layout, cut and construction including sleeve and button plackets step by step, giving students a hands-on learning experience and a completed shirt. Course fee includes patterns and materials for shirt construction.
Student must bring their own sewing machine.
Pre-requisites: Either Sewing 1,2,3 or permission from instructor.
