In this class students will up-cycle old garments into new, refreshed garments.

Additionally, we will review basic sewing techniques for knits and woven fabrics.

During week one, students will focus on knit garments, such as transforming T-shirts

and felted sweaters into fresh creations. In week two, students bring in personal

garments where we can plan and implement a more complicated re-work of garments

(e.g, an oversized button-up shirt remade into a dress).
